Before joining McKinsey, Jasper zu Putlitz spent seven years working as a medical doctor and researcher at university hospitals in Munich, Zurich, Freiburg, and Harvard.

As a specialist in anesthesia and emergency medicine as well as his consulting work, Dr. von Baer has extensive knowledge in the field of health care. He has also through his MBA studies at the University of St. Gallen and the leadership of an international engineering company a broad business experience.

Dr. Kind has many years of experience in various areas of the industry. Prior to joining the company in 2011, he held several senior executive positions at Fresenius, Rittal and Giesecke & Devrient, among others.


Vice President, Technology

Michael Howells brings over 20 years of experience in software, semiconductors, embedded systems and IT systems management to Robert Bosch Healthcare. He is responsible for overall technology strategy. Prior to Robert Bosch Healthcare, Michael was VP Engineering of Health Hero Network; acquired by Bosch in late 2007. Prior to Health Hero Network, he co-founded App2App, an embedded systems company targeting biometric access control for the security market.

Karen Gilberg is a specialist in internal medicine and endocrinology. She has over 20 years of executive level industry experience in the development, regulatory approval, reimbursement and marketing of pharmaceuticals, biotechnology products and medical devices and a further 10 years of experience in consulting to these industries.


Vice President, Quality Methods and Management, Regulatory Affairs

Russel D. Hibbert has worked in small, startup medical device companies as a regulatory and quality compliance professional for over 27 years. Mr. Hibbert brings this experience and mindset to Robert Bosch HCTM. He is dedicated to helping the company develop and maintain an entrepreneurial approach to product development by streamlining the processes, while at the same time, maintaining the highest levels of quality and regulatory compliance. Mr. Hibbert is a Vietnam veteran who served as a Navy Corpsman. He is a graduate of the University of Utah School of Medicine Physicians Assistant program and worked as a PA-C for 10 years before embarking on a career in the medical device industry.


Vice President, Global Manufacturing

Prior to joining Bosch Healthcare Larry Stevens served as Director of Manufacturing Operations for CUREXO Technology Corporation (Robodoc), coordinating manufacturing and product redesign of their orthopedic surgical robotic device. Larry has held various other leadership positions including Cardima Inc. serving as Director of Operations, coordinating manufacturing, final development and international distribution of Cardiac Catheter Diagnostic and Ablation Devices. Larry was also Manufacturing/Plant Manager at Sanmina SCI, and Director of Manufacturing for Sunrise Technologies.

Bill Zehel is responsible for recruiting, leadership and associate development, and compensation planning and management, and post merger integration. He has over 25 years of professional experience with Bosch, in various capacities including: Manufacturing supervision, Purchasing, Sales, and Human Resources.


Vice President, Telecare, Robert Bosch Healthcare

Markus Thuersam previously led the European development team of Telecare in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. Prior to joining the telecare business, Markus Thuersam worked in the Bosch automotive division for seven years.
