The visits by
Andrew Lansley CBE MP, Secretary of State for Health and
Sir David Nicholson KCB CBE, Chief Executive of the NHS at the Bosch Healthcare booth were the highlights of the NHS show this year in Manchester from 6th to 8th July 2011.
In relationship with NHS Confederation Chair Sir Keith Pearson JP it was arranged that both spent time at our booth to learn about the Bosch Telehealth System.
We were happy to demonstrate a chronic heart failure (CHF) session to Andrew Lansley, and explained the benefits of our system in detail. Lansley was very interested in our innovative system and asked questions about conditions, the patients benefits, and the Bosch projects in the UK.
Sir David Nicholson worked for 10 years in mental health, mainly in Yorkshire, and was also very interested to learn more about our projects and how the system works. He was supportive and pleased that Bosch Healthcare has established the first telehealth pilot in West Yorkshire region. We informed Sir Nicholson that the telehealth system supports national QIPP (Quality, Innovation, Productivity and Prevention) methodology to address quality and efficiency challenges and at the same time ensuring patients get better care and improved quality of life by reducing healthcare costs.
